Grace Ferguson is a classically trained Pianist, Composer, Sound Designer and Piano Teacher who is based at Eastmint Studios, Northcote.
Grace’s works respond to specific environments, subconscious understanding and its culmination in sound. The result seeks to position the audience in a space conducive to subjective inflections, inarticulate knowledge and felt encounters. She is interested in her works elaborating and evolving through the coalescence of narrative, movement, image and music.
In respect to commissions and collaborations, Grace approaches her role as a means of mutual exchange. She is interested in providing alternative avenues for meaning, conversation and the expansion of both her and her collaborator’s work.
