Esteemed Melbourne artist Grand Salvo brings his cherished ensemble to the intimate setting at Eastmint.
Paddy Mann has now released seven albums as Grand Salvo, most recently the stunning, Australian music prize-shortlisted ‘Sea Glass’. Triple R made it Album of the Week, noting: “Paddy is acclaimed for his ability to transport listeners with atmospheric arrangements, detailed compositions, and immersive stories. Combining classical, folk, and experimental songwriting styles, Sea Glass is another impressive feat of imagination and skill from a singular artist.”
Grace Ferguson is a pianist, composer and sound designer based at Eastmint studios in Melbourne. Specialising in classical piano, Grace displays her intuitive approach to melody, rhythm, dynamic and silence in original works and part-improvised collaborations with favourite musicians. For part of this performance, Grace will be joined by vocalist Esita Morgan and sound designer Jordan Obarzanek.
This event will be held on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. Their sovereignty was never ceded, and we extend our respects to their Elders – past, present, and emerging – along with all other First Nations people.
Toilets are gender neutral.
Eastmint is regrettably not a wheelchair accessible venue. No strobe lights will be in use. Please email eastmintrecords@gmail.com or send us a DM for further accessibility info and we’ll get back to you asap.
