Grace is a classically trained pianist, composer and educator based at Eastmint Studios in Naarm/Melbourne.

Exploring the intersection between sound, music, imagery and gesture her practice considers how ephemeral moments interact with personal and collective memory to construct narrative. Developing this artistic language has emerged in recent years by engaging with various arts projects across music, theatre, dance and film.

As an active musician, Grace has had the opportunity to experiment and foster collaborations with a diverse range of artists in live and recorded contexts. Drawing from these experiences and varied music styles, she coalesces composed and improvised material for performances ranging from classical recitals at the Melbourne Recital Centre to experimental sets as part of Make It Up Club’s program.

Grace acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where she works and lives, the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation and pays her respects to First Nations Elders past, present and emerging. She acknowledges their continuing connection to community, the land and artistic traditions they have practiced for generations.
